Privacy Policy

Last updated June 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Prodigal AI Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“Prodigal AI,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use Prodigal Lens (the “Service”), our free, AI-assisted brand-audit tool at lens.prodigalai.com. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account & identity. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account — and nothing else. We never receive or store your Google password.
  • Audit inputs. The website URLs, brand names, and competitor details you submit for analysis.
  • Public brand data. To produce an audit we analyze information that is already publicly available about the brands you submit — their live website, public social profiles, and search/AI-engine visibility. We do not access private accounts or non-public data.
  • Generated reports. The audit scores, findings, and recommendations we generate for you.
  • Usage, device & technical data. IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, session duration, feature usage, error logs, and security logs.
  • Cookies. Essential cookies for authentication and session management, and analytics cookies (subject to your consent).

2. How we use information

  • Service delivery. Authenticate you, run audits, and store and display your reports.
  • Quality & improvement. Debugging, analytics, and improving our models, prompts, and audit framework.
  • Security & abuse prevention. Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud or misuse.
  • Communications. Transactional emails (e.g. account and report notifications). Marketing emails only with your consent — you can opt out anytime.
  • Legal compliance. To meet legal, regulatory, and tax obligations.

3. Google user data (Limited Use)

Prodigal Lens uses Google OAuth solely to sign you in. We request only your basic profile (name, email, and picture) to create and secure your account. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties except as needed to provide the Service.

4. Legal bases

Where applicable (e.g. under GDPR), we process personal data on the bases of: performance of a contract (providing the Service); legitimate interests (service improvement, security); consent (marketing and certain analytics cookies); and legal obligations.

5. Sharing & disclosures

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

  • Service providers — hosting/CDN (e.g. Vercel), analytics, error monitoring, and email — under confidentiality and data-processing terms.
  • Legal & compliance — where required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Corporate transactions — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale, subject to safeguards.

6. Data retention

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time; some records may be retained where legally required.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including TLS in transit, encrypted secret storage, role-based access controls, and logging/monitoring. No system is 100% secure; please notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.

8. Your rights & choices

  • Access & update your account data from your profile.
  • Deletion & portability — request a copy or deletion of your data, subject to lawful exceptions.
  • Revoke Google access at any time from your Google Account’s security settings.
  • Marketing opt-out — unsubscribe from promotional emails.
  • Cookies — manage via our consent controls and your browser settings.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@prodigalai.com.

9. Children's privacy

Prodigal Lens is not intended for children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your region). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us to remove it.

10. International transfers

We may process and store data in jurisdictions outside your own, where laws may differ. Where required, we apply appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, or our services. We will post updates with a new “Last updated” date, and material changes may be notified in-product or by email.
